Professional Bio

Shadi Nasr is no stranger to investment banking operations, having spent 15+ years in a variety of positions/roles in the space. He is mainly responsible for simplifying operational processes, mitigating operational risk, drafting work structures/flows, and scaling up operations via automation. Before joining Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 2017 in a Product Development role, Shadi worked for a handful of bulge-bracket such as Citigroup, JP Morgan, and HSBC. Shadi has been involved in prod dev of newly proposed cleared assets such as cleared repo & helped with the built of client service platform for CDS & Swap clearing clients. He also contributed to the on-boarding of front-to-back vendor system(s) to manage client & house clearing businesses. Passionate about Blockchain and its possibilities, Shadi has been involved in producing business use cases around how BLT can streamline margin processes, simplify workflows, facilitate margin related settlements, and resolve custody issues. Shadi holds an undergraduate Bachelor degree from Baruch Collage Zicklin School of Business combined with MBA from Saint Peter’s university.
